FAQs
When do Lessons run?
We run lessons over the full school term and charge on a per-term basis.
If the school term is 10 weeks long, each class will have 10 lessons scheduled.
Lessons that fall on public holidays are not scheduled and will not be included in your term invoice.
Each student is allocated a day and time for their lesson at the start of each term. Students are booked in for the term, and their spot is held for them each week.
Please contact Chapman Tennis Coaching if circumstances change during the term so that an alternative day or time can be arranged.
What if I miss my lesson?
A missed class occurs when a student does not attend their scheduled lesson, even though the class goes ahead.
To support students, Chapman Tennis Coaching offers one make-up lesson per term if we are notified before the scheduled class time.
To book a make-up lesson:
Contact Chapman Tennis Coaching during the week you would like to complete your make-up lesson.
We will do our best to fit you into another suitable class that week.
If a suitable spot is not available, please try again the following week.
Make-up lessons must be completed within the same term and do not carry over into the next term.
If we are not notified prior to the lesson, no make-up class will be offered.
What happens if my class is cancelled?
A cancelled class occurs when the coach cancels a lesson due to weather conditions (such as a washout or heat-out) or coach unavailability.
Group Lessons:
If a group lesson is cancelled, a credit for that lesson will be issued and applied to your next term’s invoice. This credit will appear as a separate line item on the invoice.
Private Lessons:
Please speak directly with your coach to either:
arrange a credit for your next term’s invoice, or
schedule a make-up lesson at a convenient time.
How are fees charged?
Invoices will be sent via email at the start of each term, and payment is due within 14 days of issuance.
We offer a 10% discount under the following conditions:
A student books three or more lessons per week during the term (including group, private, or squad lessons).
Three or more members of the same family enrol for a term of lessons.
A single student’s total term fees amount to $700 or more.
