FAQs
When do lessons run?
Chapman Tennis Coaching runs lessons over the full school term and charges on a per-term basis.
If the school term is 10 weeks long, each lesson will have 10 scheduled sessions. Lessons that fall on public holidays are not scheduled and are not included in your term invoice.
Each student is allocated a regular day and time for their lesson, and their spot is held for them each week.
What happens if my lesson is cancelled?
A cancelled lesson occurs when Chapman Tennis Coaching cancels a lesson due to weather, court safety, extreme heat, or coach unavailability.
If a group lesson is cancelled, we will do our best to offer a suitable make-up lesson during the same term.
If a suitable make-up lesson cannot be arranged by the end of the term, a credit for that cancelled lesson will be applied to the student’s next term invoice.
For private lessons, please speak directly with your coach to arrange a suitable make-up lesson.
What if I miss my lesson?
A missed lesson occurs when a student does not attend their scheduled lesson, even though the lesson goes ahead.
To support students, Chapman Tennis Coaching offers one make-up lesson per term if we are notified before the scheduled lesson time.
Make-up lessons must be completed within the same term and do not carry over into the next term.
If we are not notified before the lesson, no make-up lesson will be offered.
How are fees charged?
Chapman Tennis Coaching charges on a per-term basis.
Invoices are sent via email at the start of each term, and payment is due within 14 days of issue.
